Write Once Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 22, 2026

Write Once is designed as a private, local-first writing app. The app lets you write once per day and stores your entries on your device.

Data We Collect

Write Once does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal data. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or account systems in the app.

Your Writing

Your writing entries are stored locally on your device. We do not receive or have access to your writing. If you delete the app, your local app data may also be deleted by iOS.

Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, Write Once uses Apple’s local notification system to remind you to write. Notification preferences are stored on your device. We do not receive notification data.

Privacy Lock

If you enable the privacy lock, Write Once uses Apple’s device authentication system. Biometric or passcode authentication is handled by iOS. Write Once does not receive or store your biometric information or passcode.

Exporting

If you use the export feature, you choose where to send or save your exported writing. Once exported outside Write Once, that data is handled by the app or service you choose.

Children

Write Once is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
